| Description: |
A dairy and juice factory is looking for a Production Process Engineer to join their team. This individual will form part of team of managers, each responsible for a section within the bigger production unit. Key duties will include: effective management of production processes; coordination and management of employees i.e. performance management, attendance, work schedules, etc; general management of food safety and health systems and ensuring that the proposed standards are consistently applied; ensure cost-effective and hygienic food manufacturing processes (current production lines and new lines); ensure safe working environment and that processes and equipment comply with legal requirements. |
| Key Requirements: |
Appropriate engineering qualification with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience. Experience with pasteurization processes, packaging machines, cleaning processes and systems will be beneficial. Computer literate. Willing to work irregular or long hours as required by production. |
