| Description: |
An analytical testing laboratory is seeking an Assistant Laboratory Manager for their Pesticide Laboratory. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, performing the full management function in absence of the Laboratory Manager; aiding the Lab Manager in performing operations, planning, and management of the overall functioning of the Pesticides Laboratory; providing technical support to clients; conducting technical training and evaluation of competence; directing and performing pesticides analysis using standard testing protocols; and verifying analytical results, generating certificates of analysis (COA’s), and communicating the results to clients. |
| Key Requirements: |
BSc Chemistry, Biotechnology, or equivalent and 4–6 years’ experience in an ISO 17025 accredited facility. The ideal candidate should be conversant with QA/QC and standard operating procedures, have knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and policies, and have knowledge of the Laboratory Information Management System. |
