| Description: |
A supplier of laboratory equipment and consumables is seeking an External Sales Representative to join their team. The External Sales Representative will be responsible for the sale of Mettler Toledo products including UV/Vis spectrophotometers, titrators, melting point apparatus, density meters, thermal analysis instrumentation etc. in the Johannesburg East, Sasolburg, Mpumalanga, and Limpopo regions. The duties will include, but are not limited to, maintaining sales and services to the company’s existing client base, reaching monthly and annual sales targets and broadening the client base; implementing all sales and marketing strategies for a range of products; arranging client meetings; conducting demonstrations on equipment to customers when required; attending to customer enquiries and resolving all issues professionally; compiling quotations and following-up on orders; researching and driving strategies to develop the market; drafting and presenting product-related presentations at seminars and exhibitions as required; and identifying areas of growth within the region and identifying possible strategies to enable this. |
| Key Requirements: |
A relevant scientific qualification and hands-on experience with laboratory equipment including UV/Vis spectrophotometry, titration, melting point measurements, density meters, thermal analysis instrumentation etc. is strictly required. A valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle is also required. Laboratory Equipment Sales experience would be advantageous. |
