| Description: |
A company that markets a curated range of global and local beauty brands both online and to selected major retail chains is seeking a Junior Brand Manager to join their team. This role will report to the Brand Marketing Manager. The duties will include, but are not limited to: Implementation of a Marketing strategy that will enable the brands to grow. Conduct periodic price audits on competitive brands. Liaise with the logistics team, retailer head offices and store staff when required. Keep an accurate log of Press pack drops and do follow ups. Attend retailer strategy meetings. Ensure that launches and promotions are well executed. Maintained SKU master data in Odoo. Co-ordinate the distribution of press-releases, samples, photographic material, competitions, giveaways, etc. Compiles PR samples and formal press kits. Maintain solid media relationships. Organize PR events. Develop a social media calendar and manage posts. Update competitor pricing analysis biannually. Compile new price increase schedules. Understand and maintain brand spend vs budget. Stock management and forecasts. Prepare and deliver brand presentations to retailers. Update the strategy sheets and keep the information current. Be aware of current brand and promotional performance. |
| Key Requirements: |
A Commercial Degree with a Major in Marketing with at least 2 years’ marketing or brand management experience working in a corporate office environment ideally in the Beauty Industry. Digital online marketing management (social media, SOE, websites) experience essential. Experienced writer who is articulate, and good with technology.. |
| Additional Requirements: |
Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong Microsoft Office skills especially in Excel. Superior interpersonal relationship and negotiation management skills with a demonstrated ability to work well with others. High Level of Numeracy and the ability to analyse numbers. Self-starter who is confident and able to work quickly and independently. Able to form strong professional relationships internally and externally. Practical, energetic and goal focused. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Able to work in a systematic and organised manner despite work pressure. |
