| Description: |
A food ingredient manufacturer is seeking a Sales Manager to join their Poultry division. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, customer engagement, and commercial development within the Poultry sector by overseeing technical, marketing, and business initiates across the Specialty Foods division. The key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, overseeing the commercial and technical aspects of the Poultry division; maintaining and growing existing customer relationships while driving new business development; leading the implementation and execution of projects to drive volume and sales; collaborating with support function managers to develop sustainable, profitable business; conducting hands-on product testing and customer trials; traveling extensively to liaise with clients and ingredient partners; reporting directly to the General Manager: Specialty Foods and working closely with the MD and CEO. |
| Key Requirements: |
Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or Agriculture (Animal Science) and a minimum 5–7 years’ commercial and sales experience, preferably in the Poultry Industry, is essential. The ideal candidate should also have technical ingredient and food application experience. An MBA and in-depth knowledge of poultry, poultry ingredients, and poultry processing would be advantageous. |
